The doctor nodded, appreciating our resolve. "The good news is that she's stable for now. The immediate concern is ensuring she gains strength and weight. The surgeries can be scheduled once she's stronger."
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the situation but also the hope that came with the doctor's words. "Thank you, doctor. We'll do whatever it takes."
Tasuku squeezed my shoulder. "We'll get through this together, Rose. Anis is a fighter, just like you."
Dahlia and Alli nodded in agreement, their expressions filled with determination and love. We all knew that the road ahead would be challenging, but we were ready to face it together.
"We'll start a fundraiser," Dahlia suggested. "The community will want to help. Anis is a part of all of us."
I smiled, grateful for their unwavering support. "Thank you, everyone. I couldn't do this without you."
