Rose PoV
I winced as Dahlia helped me walk.
"We're not gonna make it," Tasuku said, frowning.
"This is all my fault," Milo said as he took over control of the boy he and my brother shared. "I should never have asked for the ketchup."
"I-it's not," I muttered through the pain.
"Come, I'll help you give birth. Tasuku, call a doctor. Alli, help me deliver your niece."
My sister-in-law nodded.
Did Alli know how to help give birth? Well, she was raised on a farm, maybe she had helped cows deliver before.
"Will Rose be fine?" Abby asked, frowning.
My brother nodded as he dialed the clinic.
"Hang in there, Rose!" Alli said as she and Dahlia sat me down on the sofa.
I took several deep breaths. My baby. I didn't wanna lose my baby.
I winced as another contraction hit, sharper and more urgent than before. Dahlia and Alli helped me lie down on the sofa, their hands steady and reassuring.
