I smiled as Tulia finished eating her breakfast. I had made her a simple meal. It wasn't much, but she seemed to enjoy it.She looked beautiful, even when she was eating.
"What's wrong?" she asked, noticing my gaze. Her cheeks were bright red.
I snickered. "Nothing, my lovely heifer. I was just admiring your beauty."
She glared at me. "Can you stop calling me that? I'm not a cow."
I smiled. "Sorry. I just like it."
"Yeah, well, can you stop doing it?"
"Okay. How about, 'beautiful bride?'"
Her cheeks grew even redder.
"Tuli patotie?" I murmured, cupping her cheek.
She smiled and kissed my lips.
I deepened the kiss, running my hands through her hair.
Her lips were soft, and she tasted sweet.
"I'm gonna go watch some television," Tulia said, breaking the kiss.
"Okay," I replied.
