"Let's head back," I said.
Kyung nodded but nearly fell over as soon as he took another step. If not for the leader of the Taiyang, he would've face planted.
"He needs to rest first," she said.
Kyung sighed. "Didn't think the trial would consume all that energy."
"It's not only the trial. The trip here must've exhausted you too."

I nodded, agreeing with her assessment. "It was a long journey. And the trial... well, it wasn't exactly a walk in the park."
Kyung chuckled weakly, managing to regain some of his footing. "Yeah, that's an understatement."
Looking at Kyung, I could see the toll the trial had taken on him. His normally bright eyes were dull and his skin had a sickly pallor. He was swaying slightly, his lean frame relying heavily on the Taiyang leader for support.
"We should find a place to stay the night," I suggested, looking around the garden. "We can't push ourselves any further today."
