Reginald
I smiled as I finished building the house Tulia and I would be living in. Our wedding was only a few days away now.
The house was built near a cemetery belonging to several of her non-royal ancestors.
There was a lot of land, perfect for our kids to run around.
"Looks like it's coming along well, my silly ox," said a short brown-haired woman with golden eyes as she walked over to me.
I smirked and chuckled. "I'm dying to prove to you that I'm no 'ox'."
She hugged me from behind and giggled.
"I'll believe it when I see it," she teased, her warm breath tickling my ear.
"I'll show you, just you wait," I promised, turning around to capture her lips in a soft kiss. "But for now, I need to finish this house."
Tulia pouted, her golden eyes shimmering with mischief. "Can't it wait? I'm sure there are... more important things we could be doing."
