I yawned as I woke up. I'd dreamt of Kiki. We were playing like before, but then that evil witch Cyra showed up and took her away from me. I tried to rescue her, but a burning vroom-vroom got in the way.
Kiki... I wanted to see her again. Maybe I could ask Big Bro!
I got out of bed and ran downstairs.
"Sil, where ya going?" Milo asked, walking down the stairs with me.
"To see Big Bro! I wanna go see Kiki."
"You want him to take you to her place?"
I nodded.
He hummed. "So, what did happen to her? I thought Rose was tutoring her."
"Yeah, but Kiki failed her test twice, so Rose got fired by Kaze."
He frowned. "I see. Poor Rose."
I blinked. Was it Rose's bro talking? He and cousin Milo had fused recently.
With Milo trailing behind me, I hurried to Big Bro Saf and Rose's place. It was a small, cozy home just a few blocks away from ours.
