Kaze
I dusted off my hands as I finished making some cookies for Kiki with Kuma's help, I wanted to give our little sister something nice.
I walked over to her room and sighed as I glanced over at her. The five-year-old girl was hunched over her books, her face a mask of concentration. She was trying so hard, I could tell, but the light that used to sparkle in her eyes when she learned something new was noticeably absent, again. We had yet to find another tutor. Kiki herself didn't want us to get her another. The poor girl thought she was beyond teaching.
I wanted to do something for her. Hopefully the cookies would do the trick.
"Kiki," I started, walking over to her. "Why don't we take a break? You've been studying hard all morning."
She looked up at me, her eyes tired. "But I need to learn this, Kaze," she protested weakly. "I can't afford to fall behind more."
