Aventine sighed as she slashed the darkness, freeing us. "Trying to fight my granduncle is folly. He'll just keep rematerializing. Plus, this place is already sinking alarmingly fast."
"Sinking?" Koyuki asked she and Kine dealt with the dragon.
"You probably haven't noticed, but since you fell asleep, you've fallen into layers upon layers of dreams. This original dream has had others place on top of it, that way, should you somehow manage to save Milo, it will be hard to get out yourselves."
