Rose
I found myself back home. As in my original home, standing outside the palace gates. Was this the dreamscape's doing?
Saffron walked up to me and threw luggage off from a wagon that looked a lot like the one Ore had rented us for our wedding.
I stared at the briefcase which had now opened up. It was all my clothes.
"Saffron," I said.
He turned his back to me. Earlier, I was holding his hand which was filled with such warmth, but now... His gaze was as cold as my father's.
"Saffron," I said again. "What's going on?"
He gave me a look that sent chills down my spine. "I'm leaving you. I don't need a weakling for a wife. You couldn't even carry our daughter for more than a month."
I gasped and touched my stomach. My eyes widened as I saw blood dripping down from between my legs. Anis...
N-no. This was a figment of my imagination. I had this dream before. I... t-this was all a dream.
