[Earlier]
Sil giggled as I chased after him. "Can't catch a vroom-vroom!"
I snorted. "You're a kid, not a vroom-vroom!"
He began making car noises.
"Can't catch me, Kiki!" Sil giggled as he ran ahead of me.
I puffed out my cheeks, pretending to be out of breath as I chased after him. "You're too fast, Sil!"
He stuck his tongue out at me, turning his attention back to the path ahead of him. "I'm a vroom-vroom! You can't catch a vroom-vroom!"
I laughed, watching as Sil mimicked the sounds and actions of a car. His arms became wings, his voice the engine, as he 'drove' around his uncle's backyard.
"Catch me if you can!" he called out, glancing back at me with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.
