Rosemary
I yawned as I woke up. We had spent the night at Milo's place. Mrs. Daikiri thought it would be safer that way. We had no idea when we could be attacked. Although, I didn't like the idea of living with paranoia. Watching some of my fellow nobles' chatter and plot against people who they were not even sure were trying to kill them taught me it was not a healthy thing.
On the other hand, it was not only my safety that I had to worry about. Besides my little bun, I also had to worry about the well-being of my in-laws. Whoever wanted to get rid of me could attempt something against them as an indirect way of getting at me.
I sighed. 'whoever', huh? I already knew who was behind this. But I had no proof against her. Guess I was not much better than the paranoid nobles I watched growing up.
