*Kisara
Despite the fear gnawing at me, I charged at Bylet, my whip crackling with energy. As a warrior, I couldn't afford to show fear. My friends were depending on me. So was everyone else who Bylet planned to harm, whether they knew it or not.
I aimed for one of his legs but was sent flying back as soon my whip made contact. His scales were tough, like Orichalcum!
I rolled, skidding across the uneven ground, my body aching from the impact. It felt like I had just tried to whip a mountain. The shock from the impact coursed through my body, but I forced myself to stand, gripping my whip tighter.
Bylet chuckled, the sound echoing eerily through the chamber. "Do you see now, Kisara?" he taunted, his voice a low rumble. "Your attacks are futile. You cannot harm me."
I glared at him, my heart pounding in my chest. His scales were tough, impossibly so. But there had to be a way to get through them. There had to be a weakness.
