I grunted as a wall of stone came crashing down where I once stood. The stones and the rest of the cavern around me began to turn red. I took a deep breath and focused my ice mana to freeze my surroundings. But the heat was intense. Despite my aura, I could feel my skin burning.
'Milo. He is still inside.'
I gritted my teeth. Like I would just turn tail and leave him behind!
I took a deep breath and focused my mana into my sword. "Ice Slash!" I swung my blade, unleashing a wave of icy energy at the wall of lava. The wall came crashing down. I rushed forward and smiled as I saw Milo.
Milo continued to fight the doctor despite the latter using his Second Hell form. The latter seemed to have the advantage, but Milo was holding his own.
"Milo!" I shouted, rushing toward him.
But before I could reach him, the doctor unleashed a wave of flames, blocking my path.
