After giving Rohan a more detailed version of my idea, Korei and I made our way back to the command tent. Jiro had decided to stay back with her boyfriend, afraid he would push himself too far.
"You're pretty good with kids, huh?" Korei said.
"What makes you say that?"
"Well, the way you spoke to Matsu and Emi. You were pretty calm."
I hummed. "Well, I do have two younger siblings. My brother and sister are a lot younger than me. Alli's around ten, while Sil's five-years-old."
"Really? Wow. I don't know what I would do if I had to be responsible for children. My half siblings aren't too close to me in age either, but we got attendants for that."
"I see."
He smiled. "But you don't have that, huh? So, you had to be a father to them along with being a brother, did you?"
I nodded. "I suppose."
"You know, you're a lot different than what the rumors about you."
