I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I got up. Today, I was going to meet up with Dahlia to go over the debt repayment. Kine also said he had a surprise for me. What could it have been?
I glanced at the nightstand. An old letter of Saffron's sat there. It was from when he first arrived in Taisho. It'd taken a while to arrive.
I picked up the letter and pressed it against my chest. What was he doing now? If that dream of mine was more than just a dream, his life could've been in danger.
Shaking my head, I stood up. It was best not to think of such things!
After freshening up, making my bed, and eating a peach for breakfast, I made my way to Mrs. Daikiri's home. She had insisted that I started calling her Dahlia, although it was still a tad hard to do so aloud.
