I stared out of the window as we drove back to Kaguya.
"You're worried about Rose, aren't you? She'll be fine. She has people who care for her in her new home," Artie said, placing her hand on my shoulder.
I smiled slightly. "Yeah, but I still miss her." I sighed. "She used to be the closest family member I had around. My cousins and aunts lived on opposite parts of the country, while Father was always busy."
She leaned her head against my shoulder. Artie didn't say another word, she just rubbed my arm gently. From the look in her eyes, I could tell I'd made her sad.
"Well, at least I got you now," I said, smiling as I curled her hair around my finger.
Her face reddened. She pulled back her hair. "S-stop that!"
I snickered and kissed her on the cheek. She was so cute flustered.
She sighed. "That said, I'll miss Kine too. I didn't get to talk to him as much as I would've liked."
