"Aww," Kisara said, hugging herself. "That's actually kinda cute!"
I sighed. "It's a shame she never did come back to visit."
Uneri smiled. "Well, she's with you now, so you should be happy."
My cheeks heated up. I wanted to be friends with her, but ended up marrying her instead. We even went as far as sleeping together and possibly conceiving a child.
"Well, hopefully you will become closer when you return to her," Kisara said, grinning.
Uneri nodded. "It's kind of a shame how you two keep being kept apart. It'd be nice for you two to at least go on a date together."
I adjusted my tie. "I doubt she would want to go on a date with me."
"How do you know? Maybe she likes you," Kisara said, crossing her arms.
