Legend tells of a time when men hunted our primitive ancestors and stood at the top of the food chain that they always where looking to increase their own territory. So they fought, they fought many times throughout their history. Eventually they created destruction so complete there was no salvation. We now call this The Cataclysm. The fighting may have stopped but the chemicals that blanketed the planet ravaged the surface so only the humans who ran to thier bunkers were spared. Altho while they hid from their own hubris the rest of the world's animals began to either die or change. Something started to mutate them, make them evolve faster. After a millennia or two they began to develop humanoid posturing and intelligence. Not only did the animals evolve but so did the planet. It had developed an energy that all of its inhabitants who where left on its serface could tap into with specific cells inside their bodies.
The planet is now called Lokashi and very few creatures now inhabit it as an intelligent species. A list of the major species have been added for convenience.
The Kari, a race that had evolved from Felines, agile and cunning. These creatures are usually nomadic but can be found on their own.
The Narule, Creatures that had evolved from elephants, these are very aggressive and have nearly pushed themselves to extinction through infighting.
The Sanule which are a race of fish which since their arrival to the lands, have built a strong pride in themselves. Which has led to a great degradation to the relationship between the land dwellers and themselves.
The Fidari are a reptilian race which resemble snakes in their slender physique, they also live in holes that they dig in the ground with their sharp claws.
The Nalishi are men that have turned undead by an effect that The Cataclysm left on the planet, although unlike their creative ancestors they cannot turn others into undead though there are spells that can create them.
The Defun are ghost-like creatures which are speculated to have evolved from jellyfish, they have been heard to lure people into traps with their imitation of human voices.
The Fenlaru are evolved from humans that were unable to find shelter from the blast, they have a similar look to elves but have red bloodshot eyes, slight disfigurment and have an unusual proficiency with magic.
The Sudo have evolved from boars and look more like orcs in the sense that they have tusks and are off color of a typical human, other than that they have no other distinguishing characteristics from humans.
The land that our story will be taking place in is one of peace. N'dorika a land where all races can come together without discrimination for who they are, or who they want to be. That is until tensions arise.
