[A/N: I made a mistake, only inner court and core disciples are the only ones allowed to take solo missions given by the sect.]
Central Region, Capital of the Human Empire, Eden.
Located there was the main headquarters of Sloe, an information gathering organization referred to as brokers.
You can get any information you want as long as you pay a certain price and the higher your status the better the information you get.
Currently, there are 6 heads who run this organization and they have the most authority in Sloe.
Each head has 3 people working directly under them and they are called leaders. The leader's authority is second highest just below the heads.
One of these leaders is Lily and she works under the head who manages the headquarters in the central region.
"Leader! Leader!! I have great news for you!"
-Bang!
A girl wearing formal robes specifically for business suddenly entered Lily's office whilst shouting.
She sounded very excited as if she had just heard something life changing.
"Hmmm....? What's gotten into you Maya? Well, if someone like you is that excited, then the news must surely be important."
Lily leisurely responded to the girl before her without even getting angry by her sudden arrival and for her breaking the door.
Instead, she became serious and this piqued her interest, the girl before her was a very strict woman and one of her loyal subordinates.
For her to act like this something amazing should've happened.
"Come on now, don't get me waiting don't you, Maya. Tell me, what's the great news you have for me for you to act that way."
She replied and her seductive voice sounded in Maya's ears causing her to stop and calm herself.
Then, after regaining her normal behavior, the seriousness and strictness of her behavior were fully displayed as she said,
"It's about our sole being that brought us salvation, our master.... It seems that he decided to join a sect called Moonlight Palace."
This time it was Lily's turn to get excited. A complex mixed of emotions ran through her mind, excitement, love, longing, they were just a part of them.
The most significant one was happiness, she was happy for her master, now that he's going to start cultivating, no one will now underestimate him.
"W- Where did you hear this Maya? And if this information isn't reliable... I'll punish you." Seriousness overcame Lily's voice.
It wasn't that she didn't trust her, it was just that, everything about Siphyr to her must be handled with the greatest care.
"Leader, I got this information from Siphyr's mother herself, so without a doubt our master joined a sect." She replied with no hesitation as she was confident with her answer.
"Is that so..... You may leave first, Maya. Don't tell anyone in our personal 'organization' yet, I want it to be a surprise for them."
"Understood, then I'll be returning to my duty master, I'll send someone to fix this door too while at it." Maya said and left while skipping through the hallway.
With this, Lily was left alone in the room and her excitement still hasn't calm down.
'Siphyr is finally going to cultivate, with his immense talent, if he cultivated since he was young, those called exemplars would be nothing in front of him.'
Lily began reminiscing about her days with Siphyr, afterwards memories on how she got here resurfaced in her mind.
After leaving the Asmodeus household, she immediately came to the central region's Sloe headquarters.
With the demon king's recommendation, she was able to get accepted into the organization quite quickly.
During her days there, she worked hard and while at it she gathered subordinates from all over the continent when she was travelling for her job.
Furthermore, because of her achievements in gathering information coupled with her talent and cultivation, she was able to quickly rise to the position of a leader in a few years.
During this few years, she was able to form her own secret organization, it was filled with girls she rescued from fallen families or girls she saved whole doing her job.
Although, if it weren't for Siphyr, she wouldn't even be saving people in the first place.
Lily was a cold person towards anything that's not related Siphyr or her sisters, but because of Siphyr's words she managed to change.
"Siphyr, why are you trying to save that creature, it's going to die anyway?"
Lily asked curious when she saw Siphyr who didn't bother with anything try to save the creature in his hands.
"Indeed, it's going to die but still, I should at least try to save it, right?" He said with a kind smile directed at Lily.
And this smile, captivated her very existence. So for a while she continued staring at Siphyr blankly focusing her gaze only to him.
That was when Siphyr spoke again and these words will be the one to change the way she thinks.
"Lily, not to brag but I know you're not interested in things not related to me. So to answer your question from before, why am I still trying to save this creature if it's going to die anyway?" He paused and stared straight at her eyes with his innocent gaze.
Then, he smiled, one so bright that Lily couldn't take her eyes off him even if she tried before continuing his speech.
"It's because you should save what you can, Lily, but of course without risking your life." He said and continued on treating the creature.
However, it eventually died in the end.
"Save what you can without risking your life." She mumbled as she stared at the painting of Siphyr in her hands.
The words she muttered became a motto for her and this also became the motto of the secret organization she's trying to create.
Every time she saves someone she always says, it's because of my master's words that you will be saved.
That caused everyone in the organization to be respectful and grateful to Siphyr and every time they gathered fully.
Lily will talk about what she likes about Siphyr the most and this meeting was one of the most important events in the organization.
"Speaking about fallen families, that girl from the Yin family I saved a while ago should be in that same sect.... How lucky."
