As he reached the stairs, the ominous atmosphere announced his presence. Stepping onto the first stair, he fixed his gaze downward, making his formidable presence felt. The defenders below instinctively gripped the hilts of their swords, ready for what was to come.
"Well, well, look who we have here? The cream of the crop, the top dogs of the year," Kurayami declared as he gracefully descended the stairs, clapping mockingly.
"And who are you? How did you get in? Do you have a death wish?" demanded one of the swordsman, his eyes filled with arrogance and his voice heavy with threat.
"Oh man, a death wish? Nah! You've got it all wrong. I am death, and I've come to grant your wishes - to die," Kurayami tilted his head slightly to the right, smirked, and let out a slow, menacing laugh with a sinister grin.
