"Nova !!!", he exhaled a large amount of cigarette smoke while he sat on the floor with a glass of alcohol in one hand and a cigarette in another. He rested his head on the wall with a half-unbuttoned white shirt and messy black hair as if he was not in his senses.
"You were not supposed to leave your Gabriel that day.", he said while pointing himself as he gulped the whole glass of alcohol at once while slowly looking down at the frame, placed on the floor. "N-No-Nova", he called out her name and soon knocked out, letting the empty glass and the cigarette drop on the floor with a "THUD" noise.
However, it was a bright day for someone when the servants rang up the curtains and the bright sun kissed a beautiful woman's skin and she woke up "Mhm!! What a beautiful day, just like me!!" the beautiful woman said while letting out a smile and stretching her body.
Thus, the girl sat on her luxurious bed while one of the servants approached her and offered her the black coffee "Oh without this my day never starts." She took the coffee and took a sip, it always felt heaven to have such a great coffee besides, it was her favorite thing to start her day with.
Nonetheless, she got a call and all the servants went out of her room leaving her alone. She stepped out of her bed, took her smartphone and walked towards the giant glass window, and received the call "Speak?" she took a sip of her coffee. "Nova, where are you?", a man asked from the other side of the phone. "Where am I supposed to be Issac?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "Oh god, just come to the company" In reply, Nova was quiet "Nova are u even listening to me?" Nova rolled her eyes and said "What is soo urgent Issac? I just woke up."
Where Nova was very relaxed, on the other hand, Issac was in a rush and it was making great chaos "Nova listen to me carefully.", he let out a big sigh "Yes I am listening to you Issac", she said with an annoying tone "Nova employees are resigning due to the delay in their salary". What Issac said made Nova shocked for real "What the fuck, are you in your senses I paid them off on the first of the month, I don't remember if I ever delayed anyone's salary in the past". In return, Issac was pissed off "Why don't you come and sort things yourself?"
"Issac, Issac" for her unfortunate Issac had already ended the call. Nova had none of the options left so without thinking further she went to the bathroom, took a quick bath, and wore her clothes which included a white crop top and black bell bottoms with black high heels and a white Gucci bag.
Nova walked out of her room after showering with her only favorite scent of Vanilla and towards the main hall from where she went straight to the main gate and asked the driver to hand her the car keys. The driver without wasting a minute handed her the keys, whereas guards opened the gate for her and she drove off straight towards her company.
"Nova, please, please come back" That's when Gabriel woke up and realized that it was again none other than a dream. He stood up from the floor and touched his head due to the pain caused by the alcohol that he had last night. He managed to carry himself to the bathroom where he took a warm bath and did his morning routine. He came out of the bathroom just to sit on his bed and started to search for a job as he thought maybe working will help him to forget about Nova so he continued his research, though it was not the first time, he searched for the jobs before as well but was later rejected in the interviews.
"Gabriel dear!!", someone politely called out his name and knocked on the door. He didn't hesitate cause he knew that it was none other than his friend's mother. "Yes aunt", he stood up and opened the door for her. "Here is your breakfast, you have been working so hard to get her, you will find her" She patted his back to make him feel comfortable. "I will definitely find her no matter what it takes." After showering such courageous words he smiled at his aunt and she did the same and left him for the sake of privacy.
"I will find you, Nova, just wait and see what I will do with you.", his grip on the tray got tight.
He placed his breakfast aside and started to search again. "I must note these companies" he exclaimed.
On the other hand, a girl about twenty-four years old stepped out of her car and stood in front of the giant-deluxe company. She got inside the building where each of the employees bowed at her with a smile along with the guards. She went to the lift and clicked the button. Within ten seconds lift arrived, she went in and selected the sixth floor as her destination.
As soon as she entered there, it was all chaotic but she didn't hesitate to enter she was just like a super dominant woman who could handle all the situations easily. She passed through the hallway when each employee went silent. She entered her office where Issac was already present. She rubbed her temples thinking that he is going to make a fuss.
"Where were you, Nova? Do you even know what is happening right now?" Issac questioned Nova breathing heavily. "Issac you asked me to handle it so better cut this crap and let me see it." Nova was very annoyed so, Issac just sat on a sofa with trembling hands while Nova called the CFO {Chief Financial Officer} and asked him to send her the Employee's Remuneration Report on her email.
However, it was not that Nova didn't have money to pay off the employees salary but, she wanted to know where the money was, to search for the answer she had to go to the depth. "Issac, do me a favor, go on our website and call each and every person for the interview today, I don't want to loose the number of employees, and yeah those who have resigned shouldn't pass through this building." Issac nodded and was leaving "Yes and you will be the one taking interviews as well as asking them to sign a contract that they won't be leaving the job until I allow them," Nova said with a small smile and Issac left.
Soon as Issac left, Nova's expression changed into the dark feminine. "I won't let this matter slide away like this." She went to her chair, opened her laptop, and started to work.
On the other hand, a man almost twenty-six years old, seems to be a total nerd with greasy hair and a school bag pack on. He directly headed towards the lift and went to the fifth floor. There he directly went to the reception. "Excuse me, I came here for an interview." "Yes please follow me, this way," the receptionist asked him to follow her.
They arrived when the receptionist knocked on the door and a voice came "Come in." "The receptionist said, "Sir he came for the interview." In return, Issac nodded and the receptionist left them. "Have a seat" The man took a seat.
"Introduce yourself please," Issac asked the man. "Ahm ahm, my name is Gabriel Gray and I am twenty-six years old, I am a software engineer as well as a hacker. I have done an Ethical Hacking Diploma and Degree." Issac was happy that he got such a brilliant person. "Impressive, you are in, you can join from today but before that, you may sign this contract." Issac handed him the papers. "Take your time." He didn't read the contract, just signed it. "I trust you Sir", said Gabriel and stood up with a smile, paid his regards, and left.
Issac stood up and rushed to Nova's cabin he opened the door and burst "Nova Nova Nova!! We got a perfect employee for our company." "What the hell Issac? Just go and call a hacker cause according to my opinion someone has hacked the financial account." "No need for that Nova, we got the best employee for that, let me call him"
However, Issac went out of the cabin and asked the receptionist "Go and call that new employee Gabriel Gray". The receptionist without wasting a second went to call him. "Excuse me, you are Gabriel?", the receptionist asked the man "Yes" "Sir Issac is calling you in CEO's Office", the receptionist told Gabriel. While smiling like a total nerd he replied "Okay" and followed the receptionist. They both arrived when they saw Issac standing next to the CEO's Office, Gabriel went to him and the receptionist left.
Issac knocked on the door when a stern voice came from a woman "Yes?" Both of them entered the room while watching a woman facing the giant glass building, having a cup of coffee in one hand and the other hand in her pocket. "Ma'am here is the person whom I was talking about earlier Gabriel Gray." She turned around with a cold expression which soon changed into a shocking one cause she never thought to meet someone whose name is similar to her ex. Something was wrong with that employee, something felt unusual to her.
"Good Morning, Ma'am Nova!!" Issac was shocked that how he knew her name so he questioned Gabriel "Gabriel, do you know her?" Gabriel looked at Issac then to Nova and said "Actually no, the name plate is there I read it from there." he pointed at the name plate placed on the table. Nova was very confused cause it was all very sudden. "I have to look after things Ma'am you may take help from him," Issac said and left the room.
However, Nova smiled at Gabriel but was nervous at the same time cause the name Gabriel, reminded her of someone who was just a nightmare for her but she changed her mind thinking that he looks a total nerd, he can never be her ex. While examining his personality he was wearing a white shirt with black pants, his hair was oily, and was wearing spectacles which made him a totally different person other than her ex, who was a bad boy and a heartthrob.
Nevertheless, the atmosphere was getting intense when Gabriel started to walk closer to Nova and Nova started to move backward, and behind her was the table. Gabriel didn't hesitate and started to move closer just to make sure that there won't be any gap left, that was when she stumbled and finished sitting on the table. Still, Gabriel didn't move and was much closer to her that she was feeling very uncomfortable. "E-excuse me?" Nova asked while stuttering as he was very close to her face. He moved closer and lastly grabbed the laptop which was behind her which made Nova flinched. "Umm sorry ma'am I just wanted this," he said while showing the laptop in his hand with a smile and was staring through her soul, but still he didn't move a budge when suddenly...
