"I am sorry that I have failed you, my lady!" a hoarse voice came out from the shadowy figure but the lady's face didn't seem to change much.

Find her, capture her and bring her here whether alive or dead!" the woman suddenly icily said, her coldness sending shivers into the shadow that didn't even have a body to speak of right now. Its shadowy figure could be seen trembling, but the lady didn't seem to see it as she continued with her reprimanding. "Instead, you returned to me in such a state. Tell me, 1, why should I keep you? You have been failing so many times now that I am starting to regret all the resources that I have been feeding you."
When the shadow figure heard that, it immediately crawled on its knees before stopping when it was a short distance from the lady.
