Chapter 59 - CHAPTER 59: CONNECTIONS 4

Following behind the potbellied man, a few minutes after she had opened her tomato sauce and tauntingly spread it on her bread. Making every single gluttonous individual inside the restaurant gulp their saliva down every second the aroma swept into the room, she was in a good mood.

'It's good that I made the right bet. Who would have thought that I would be lucky enough to meet the boss? It's even much better than discussing with the manager!'

Tapiwa was very excited. It didn't even take her ten minutes, and yet there she was on her way to talk business.

As for the egoistic men who were busy running off their mouths. Judging her when they didn't even know her, she could imagine how sour they were feeling at the moment.

'The feeling of slapping some faces is truly wonderful!'

They took the stairs while a server followed behind, holding her hand upstairs. As for her basket with the tomato sauce, she wasn't kind enough to allow anyone else to hold it.

So, all eyes were on the basket. And if she could read minds, she would probably go berserk and feel like skinning some people.

After a while, they reached the second floor and the private room that the boss who wanted to see her was currently in.

A knock was made, and moments later, they entered the room with ease.

When Benjamin saw the madam who caused a lot of drama at his restaurant up close, he couldn't help but blush all over.

Seeing her much closer was completely different and, to be honest, if she wasn't tying that bun on her head, he would have …umm… some thoughts were truly inappropriate, but they couldn't be helped.

Pasting a professional smile on his face, Benjamin welcomed Tapiwa happily. As long as food was involved, especially the kind he had just seen, he was a happy man.

"Welcome, Madam, and thank you for agreeing to meet with me!" Benjamin excitedly spoke as he ushered Tapiwa to her seat.

Tapiwa wasn't the kind to wear a scary expression on her face especially when discussing money, so with an enthusiastic expression of her own, she responded to the young man whose body fat seemed to be screaming that he could eat very well, "Thank you for having me here!"

Tapiwa settled down easily while her tray of bread and tea was also placed in front of her.

Seeing the plain plate in front of him, Benjamin frowned a bit and ordered the manager, "Bring a plate of meat over!" before looking at Tapiwa's plate as if he couldn't see her.

Tapiwa stifled her laughter, afraid that she might offend the young master, who looked very funny. His love for food was simply overflowing. Instead of looking at the woman in front of him; his eyes were glued to the food.

However, seeing that made her very happy, as it showed that she had done a very good job. Besides, she hated lecherous men the most. If he had looked at her with those perverted eyes, she wouldn't have bothered to continue.

All perverts reminded her of her ex-husband and it made her sick to the stomach.

"Umm, umm!" Tapiwa cleared her throat as she picked up her cup of warm tea bringing it to her mouth for a sip.

Benjamin, who had been too entranced by the tomato sauce. He just couldn't identify where it came from, came back to his senses, and felt very embarrassed straight away.

To think that he had lost his cool in front of a woman. If his mother were to learn of that, wouldn't she hit him with a stick and punish him?

"Eh, eh! Sorry about that. We haven't introduced ourselves to each other. My name is Benjamin Garwe and I am the owner of the restaurant. How may I call you, madam?" being as polite as he can, without boasting or trying to show off much, he went first.

Hearing his polite tone, Tapiwa liked the young man more and answered sincerely, "You can call me Madam Sims. And I happen to be the maker of that wonderful sauce you want to discuss business with me about."

Instead of going in circles, Tapiwa decided to just be upfront with the man so that they could finish their discussion as early as possible.

Benjamin wasn't expecting her to be that forthright and seeing her acting that way and with such confidence, he couldn't help but like her more.

"That's good then. I love doing business with people like you. And seeing you here and acting like this, I guess that you came here to seek cooperation. Now tell me, what are your conditions if I want to buy your sauce?" going straight to the point, Benjamin asked.

Tapiwa smiled genuinely at the man, took out the used bottle, and placed it on the table. Raising her hand, she ushered the young man and said, "Go ahead and look at it."

Benjamin didn't need to be told twice. He quickly opened the bottle and carefully took a closer look at the sauce without letting any of his saliva drip inside.

Unlike others who had never seen sauce, he knew so much about it. Back home, his family loves using sauce and since they can afford it, they use it almost daily, although it will be in smaller quantities.

The supply of sauce had always been a problem and only a few people knew how to make it, making it scarce.

Of course, others try to make it at home but it still won't come out as nice and tasty as those sold by those merchant tastes like.

And yet, for the first time in a very long time, Benjamin found himself staring at a bottle of fragrant sauce that its fragrance and aroma were enticing enough to make even a person who didn't have an appetite.

It just smelled that good, and he didn't want to let such a chance pass him quickly.

So, after checking the sauce, he looked seriously at Tapiwa, not wanting to show just how much he needed the sauce.

Unfortunately for him, though, it was already too late for him to act that way, for Tapiwa had already gotten the answer that she wanted and she was going to do her best to achieve the desired result that she wanted from the beginning.

"So, how are you selling and how much will it be?" Benjamin finally asked, seeing how Tapiwa wasn't showing any action but simply enjoying her bread.

Tapiwa took another refreshing sip of tea and looked at Benjamin once more. That time, there weren't any teasing markings on her face, but she wore armor and was ready to talk business.
