Tapiwa watched amusedly as the people, in an orderly manner, went to the fountain where each person received an equal share of holy water.
The water was blessed, and by having it with them, they could discard any bad luck, curses and even illnesses.
She wasn't sure if people in this kingdom could get sick since the majority were killed by the cold. However, it didn't hurt having something like that pretty close. After all, the deities were omnipotent.
For those who got their holy water, they would go and collect a plate of food and settle down to eat. That was the first meal of the day.
Only those who got the holy water could eat, so the eating process took a very long time before it was finished.
When it was finished, the second and final session of the day started.
This time, there was singing and more worshipping. In the middle, the priestess even shared the glorious miracles that the deities had bestowed on them that year.
