ZENGESA VILLAGE
Chirp. Chirp.
In the dead of the night, the cicadas and crickets were busy making noise as usual, probably celebrating or just feeling like it.
The village was so silent, and causally the sound of dogs barking accompanied the cicadas.
Everyone was sleeping, or rather, everyone was now in the confines of their homes, resting after such a long day.
And on this night, in a certain household, a couple lay in each other arms, constantly sighing, unable to sleep.
"Dear, what are you thinking about?" a male voice sounded in the dark room, his voice tinged with worry.
There was a slight movement on the bed as the wife changed her sleeping posture to face her husband. Despite being in the dark, the wife felt that since they were both awake, talking face-to-face was more intimate and better than the position she was in before.
