"I have already added your portion. Let's eat together. It's been a while!" Tapiwa flatly stated as she pulled a few plates to her side.
Chipo could sense that Tapiwa didn't seem to be in the mood to talk much. However, considering that it was dinnertime, she found Tapiwa's actions to be not too much.
As a result, the two ate their food in silence, and the atmosphere was simply awkward.
After filling her stomach and sweeping everything off the plates, the servants came to take all the dirty dishes. Tapiwa, followed by Chipo, went to the central room where they got seated and received some refreshments before they were left alone.
"Since you are here, tell me what do you want?" Tapiwa went straight to the point.
She knew Chipo pretty well. The other had been too spoiled to the extent that whenever she came to Guche, she would be the one visiting her.
