Once upon a time, Eras and Eras ago was a time of Gods, Immortals, Beasts and mortals.
Of the beasts were various clans from the Arrogant dragons who stood at the peaks led by a black Dragon King and a White Dragon Queen whose pervasity knew no bounds whenever they stepped on a battlefield together.
One was an overpowered assaulter whose claws were coated with destruction, another was a broken supporter whose healing and buffs was too exaggerated.
Then there was the Phoenix Clan that lorded over flames and personified the cycles of life, death and rebirth. They were Second only to dragons as none other could ever stand above them. The Emperor Phoenix was unsurprisingly a Red Phoenix those of flame.
Then there was the Quilins Judges of the Heavens, their wil and tempers were that if thunder and lighting ready to rumble and flash.
Then there was the Heavenly Tortoise a race of perseverance and endurance, in terms of defensive might if they said they were second none would ever claim to be first. They were loved by the earth amd crowmed with jade as no other gem was worthy of their shells
Then there was the White Tiger Clan another pinnacle Clan whose ferocity was feared by many, whenever a White tiger fell blood would always flow in rivers.
Then there was the Nemean Lion Clan another pinnacle clan whose courage and bravery was to the extreme, many even called it stupidity. But it was known for a fact that Lions knew no fear even when death was imminent they would growl at it and face ot head high and paws firm.
Then there was the Rocs beloved of the air, within the sky no beast could ever claim superior in speed as onky the Rocs were worthy of the name belived of air.
Then there was the Griffins beloved of gold, their liking for the metal was second only to the dragons but aside from their treasure seeking gifts they were also symbols of prestige.
These were the top clans of the beasts, and so many more were beneath them but they were the most notable.
The Nemean Lions, the first lion race to ever exist. This was the only existing type of lions at the time, their manes and fur glowed beneath any form of light, their roars echoed through the vast skies, their arrogance sixth only to the Heavenly Tortoise, The White Tigers, Quilins, The Vermillion Phoenix and The Sky soaring Dragons.
Outside of these Five behemoths very few could ever stifle their steps or tower their auras.
The Nemean Lion Clan had a patriarch like most clans would, theirs was strong and was ranked as the sixth strongest patriarch or the sixth strongest couple.
Patriarch Heras had Six sons and daughters, he was an arrogant Beast king to others but a doting father and husband to his family.
Tor was the eldest son, first born of Heras Nemea. He was the pride of the clan a genius like no other who in a few more Millenias would be one of the hundred strongest beasts.
Valk was the Eldest daughter, second born of Heras Nemea. She was the jewel of the clan and she was a Prodigy in healing and all matters of the body.
Ragul was the second son, third born of Heras Nemea. He was a battle maniac, unlike his elder brother who sought to be strong, he sought the thrill of battle.
Tifa was the second daughter, fourth born of the Heras Nemea. She was the unlicky daughter of Heras born a few years after the famed battle maniac Ragul, her brother chose her to be his partner in sparring and everything he did.
This turned her into a ferocious fighter but also unsurprisingly a pacifist who only fought when necessary.
Yash was the third son, fifth born of the Heras Nemea. He was a scholar who sought out the why and how in life, a trait that earned him the friendship of the Heavenly Tortoise.
Prita was the third daughter, sixth born of the Heras she was the twin sister of Samrat the elder twin of the two. She was a genius in Comprehensions as her understanding of elements was so deep that only the older generation could match hers.
Samrat was fourth son, seventh born of the Heras Nemea he was the twin brother of Prita the youngest of the two. He was a cultivation junkie, he loved the euphoria that came with every breakthrough and the fascination of the realms, compared to his siblings none had a cultivation base as solid as his.
Finn was fifth son, eighth born of the Heras Nemea. He was too smart for his own good but also a combat talent, unlike his battle maniac and Cultivation junkies of brother, he was far more tempered.
He usually enjoyed using his cunning instead of brawling out, but that never meant he couldn't duke it out.
Tiara was the fourth daughter, ninth born of Heras Nemea. She was surprisingly girlish and unlike her sisters she eas wuite close to her mother who taught her the politics of the clan and what not and what to dk in certain situations. She aspired to be a merchant an abandoned dream of her mothers.
Mitsui was the fifth daughter, tenth born of Heras Nemea. She was a social butterfly, in her presence even the races with blood sworn hate would find themselves laughing and joking together. She was a free spirit beloved by all but claimed by none.
Lean was the sixth and youngest daughter, the eleventh born of Heras Nemea. She was spoilt much like her younger brother, she was smart enough however to know her limits. Her sisters also made sure that she was worth what she was demanding thereby curbing her spoilt nature in a matter of years.
Trye was the sixth and youngest son, last born of Heras Nemea. He was a spoilt little lass who if not for his eldest brother would have strayed from the ways if the clan and brought dishonor to their name.
These were the twelve heirs of the Nemea clan and from them was where the solution to one of the clans worries came from.
A few of the Upper echelon clan's heirs had fallen for humans, Elves, Angels and Demons, they were however beast and as such couldn't easily get physical with their Humanoid counterparts.
Finn, Yash, Samrat and Valk came together to find a solution since one of their sister had fallen for a human, their discussions were joined by the Heavenly Tortoise, the dragons phoenixes and Quilins who also shared a similar problem.
Years and year of research finally bore fruit, that and Finns grand epiphany which paved a way fir beast to finally be with humanoids.
It was widely known that for any Cultivator to know a beast was strong that beast should be able to turn into a humanoid for an extensive time. The scions of the top clans could turn into humaoids mainky due to the purity of their bloodlines but the change was usually temporary and tiring.
Finn therefore using Mitsui's connection made contact with an elven alchemist amd commission for the brewing of a potion in enmasee, he had already drawn the formulae and gathered the ingredients. The Alchemist took three nights and three days to finish the potion which under the authority of the ten strongest beasts was enchanted to be never ending like the fountain of youth or the endless springs or the great river.
One by one the heirs and all those who sought to shed their beast forms took the potion, it was on that day that a new race was born the humanoid beasts, the Beastkin.
Their ties of blood were however thicj they therefore still held a bond to the beast deapite not being beasts.
The Nemean Lions those who did take the potion were split into seven clans The Black lions of Ragul, the Red lions of Finn, The Orange lions of Tyre, The Green Lions of Yash, The Blue Lions of Mitsui who suprisingly had a crush on a Merman,
For the new race Beastkins they sought beatification as this was their sign of power or bloodline purity while beasts sought to attain humanoid forms as this was their sign of power and bloodline purity.
This became their duality, of Beast and Beast-kins, it was also their alliance since they were all from the same origins.
