Chapter 35 - Chapter 34: Berian Varia I

The predator's body dropped to the ground it's two halves inches apart, its eyes filled with appalled shock and fear as it chocked on its own blood, its innards spilt over the forest floor as it's feet twitched.

But all this happened unnoticed to the perpetrator, Kamila was still in daze as the runes on her body still glowed radiantly, the prideful lion now held a doting expression as it locked down on Kamila and purred gently

It then looked at the fallen predator and growled waving it's claw as a string 9f essence left the predators body and begun to flow towards Kamila.

The steady stream entered her eyes nose mouth and ears flowing through until all four glowed in raging fiery glow

The lion leapt if her back and run in the air before circling back to Kamila and diving into her, radiant fiery blood red aura encased her body from head to toe as it was all greedily absorbed into her

[ Caution : A Bloodline Legacy has Awakened]

[ The bloodline Legacy is linked to the Lioness of Dawn and Spear Sovereign Berian Varia]

[ As per Berian's Request the Descendant of her's who awakens mid battle shall be rewarded The Blood Pearl of the Pride]

[ The participant Kamila Varia has been included in the list of Variables]

The prompt relayed as a Fiery blood red pearl manifested out of thin air, it was small almost the size of a marble but much larger.

It made its way towards Kamila's chest and shoved itself into her chest, making a hike in her chest that revealed her heart which was beating rapidly.

The marble dissolved inti a streak of red wisps and entered her heart before closing the hole in her chest

Her heat beat with vigor as she sucked in a large breath

Kamila's Sea of Consciousness

A large plain stretched out touching the foot of a long mountain range, it surrounded the massive plain almost to the point of it being called a collossem

The skies were dark and heavy while the winds were cold and chilling, one could not feel the warmth as neither could tell wether it was day or night.

Two armies marched, each dressed and adorned in weapons and armors, knights atop their faithful steeds with griffins soaring the skies

The battlefield was bloody, limbs flew around, heads rolled, innards spilled from being debowelled but neither of the armies stopped no warrior fled the war continued.

On top of a griffin was a red haired woman, her honey brown eyes flowed dimly as the spear in her hand thrummed with life as it craved blood

Infront of her was a man, he unlike the rest lacked a mount, his steps forced the very air to trembled and solidify as forming platforms for him to step

His back was wide and straight as if holding up the very skies unfettered, he stood tall and proud his aura was one that made all those in the battlefield feel safe despite the gore and blood.

He was talk with long black hair with pale blue eyes, he had a large muscles build, with a physique that many athletes would drool over. He was dressed black knight armor which was embroidered with ciphers, from the breastplate to the gauntlets, to the Greaves of his heels.

In his hand was nothing as no weapon saw itself worthy in his hand, for a while he stood in the air in silence looking down in the battlefield he finally spoke

" Berian, how well do you think you'd do against an Archdemon General?!" his voice was authoritative, stern, confident and most of all calm as if the words he spoke were nothing before him

" I won't be able to kill an Archdemon much less one ranked as General...the best I could do is stalemate it until reinforcements arrive....with that maybe a fifty-fifty chance," she replied unsure where the question has suddenly come from

" Is that so?! Ohh well I'll have you make that fifty-fifty chance to seventy at worst and ninety at best because in half a minute an Archdemon General will descend upon this battlefield," Ivarthen stated calmly

* You are to fight it and heavily injured it maybe fatally injure it, that would mark as seventy percent chance, anything less than that and I won't train you for a month and your resources shall go to either one of your peers," he declared

" But master I can't efficiently battle an Archdemon, their regeneration is too troublesome not counting their absurd mana capacities and darkness affinity but worst of all demons are beings of immense physical might greater than mana beast and you want me to fight one while at Grey core?!" Berian complained as tears nearly found themselves in her eyes

" Well yes, that's why I didn't call the other three...for your hesitation you are banned from using your Qi only rely on mana, I will not help you unless your half dead," Ivarthen stared before turning silent

Just as Berian was about to complain once more a minor explosion occured on the battlefield as a number of soldier from Ivarthen's army were wounded

From the smoke a tall horned figure stood, its skin was sickly dark purple with four horn crowning it's head, it had four eyes on its face with the second pair being right above it's cheekbones.

It was towering almost four meters high, in its hand was a long spine spear which lacked the usual white cram of bones, this one was darker than night with it's head sharpened to the point of it glowing dimly.

It was encased in Dark Purple armor than seemed less of armor and more like its skin, it roared as waves of it's corrosive aura spread out

In the skies Bernia panicked and was about to flee when her foot was caught in the familiar grip of her master who threw her towards the demon at frightening speeds that would normally turn a mortal into meat paste.

She crashed Into the demon who was just about to start attacking, they flew across the battlefield diving it in half separating the two armies

Kamila lazily stood from the trench she made and streched herself, her bones cracked with every movement as her joints loosened

She opened her palm only for a silver gold spear to fly into it with glee, she twirled her spear warming up her fingers before sighing to herself " master is too tough on me," she clicked " I'm the weakest of us four yet he always tosses me to fight the most!" she cursed as her honey brown eyes turned golden

The demon also stood from it's trench which was just four meters away from Bernia he locked down on the human female and tilted her head in confusion

Why was this weak human challenging her?

Did she not want to live?

Was she so retarded that she couldn't see the difference in their strength?!

He was a General already At the soul stage yet a mere Grey core had the guts of challenging him?!

The demon laughed frantically it's laughed guttural and hoarse as it sounded far dreadful than it was meant to be
