"Shit I'm bleeding!" Debbie screamed "Shut Up," The Man said "Unless I'll make your friend bleed too!". "Hey what do you want from us we were just heading out," Drake said looking coldly at the man, he paused and said "A million dollars straight up,"
"No way even though that's like spare change to me, I'm not sparing it to you," Drake said giving him another cold stare. The man reached over to Debbie yanked her hair and was about to do something to her when they heard a siren and a policeman rushed in and handcuffed the robber and his accomplice.
Drake carried Debbie to the car and rushed them to the hospital nearby, Debbie had a bleeding hand which she had cut as she ran and Drake had a bruised hand. They treated them and sent a message to Debbie's mom.
As they got to Drake's house Debbie was too tired to take a shower she plopped herself on the bed, Drake went into the bathroom to take a shower and he enjoyed it as it sent warm trickles of water down his back. Drake came out of the shower and Debbie was speechless she had never seen Drake in this way before, his defined abs and beautiful dark hair.
"You know I can totally see you staring at me," Drake said drying his hair "I'm not staring at you...I'm staring at the toilet door," she replied. "How are you feeling, your hand?," he asked "It's good how's yours?" she asked him grinning.
Drake leaned closer to reach for his phone across Debbie and she couldn't help but notice how close they were, Drake chuckled and leaned back. Debbie yawned and covered herself with her blanket, Drake turned off the lights and kept repeating the no feelings rule in his head.
The next day was a Friday and their school opens a bit later than usual so they both got some time to sleep in late, Drake woke up early as usual and made them pancakes and some orange juice then when Debbie woke up she was amazed at how well Drake took care of her.
"You would do nice as a father, ya know," Debbie laughed "Replacing yours or..." Drake said looking into her soul. She expressed a pained look as she stared back at Drake "Sorry shouldn't have said that D," he apologized, she didn't reply just stood up and got dressed for school.
The ride to school was very quiet and it left Drake regretting what he said, Debbie had been hurting since her father died in a homicide last 4 years and she went sad at any reference to him, he couldn't help but notice the tear at the corner of her eyes in the car earlier he had really messed up today.
