In the village of Rion, four people where walking through the quiet streets. The group of four included two teenage girls, a middle aged woman, and a very tall muscular man. All of a sudden the man put his hand on the sword strapped to his waist but did not stop walking.
"We are being followed" Rocky said with his hand hovering above his sword 'Did the village get infiltrated ? no local can hide from me for this long' he thought.
"Don't worry about them, we saw them a while ago, it seems we gonna get visitors tonight Linda." Tina said with a smile, softly nudging her friend who seemed to be in her own world.
An unsightly expression appeared on Clara and Rocky's faces as they had misunderstood what the girls meant by 'visitors'. The group finally arrived at a two roomed cottage and proceeded to show Linda and Tina the inside. After the very short tour of the house, Clara and Rocky wished the girls a good night and left, but not before Clara showed a weird smile and a wink. Effectively leaving the girls confused.
"What do you think he wants ?" Linda whispered to Tina as they sat on the bed in one of the rooms.
"Probably to apologize, hopefully to apologize otherwise i will break his off di....neck. How dare he flirt with that bitch of all people" Metaphorical smoke was coming out of Tina's ears.
"Ookay i think we are talking about different people here" Linda said.
A few minutes before Linda and Tina got to their rooms. Two shadows could be seen arguing about something on top of a roof.
"Im telling you dude I saw him reach for his sword" Lex reiterated.
"Impossible! no one can see through my new technique" Adam said with his chest pumped out.
"What new technique? running on rooftops?"
"Trust me okay no one can see nor sense us we are completely incognito" Adam said proudly.
"What is the definition of 'incognito' ?" Lex questioned playfully.
"Incognito is what we are right now. Okay they went around the corner, let's move or we will lose them" Adam said running with his back bent a good 90 degrees, causing Lex to almost burst out in laughter. He was happy that he was acting his age and wanted to enjoy the feeling as much as he could.
It was weird for Lex to actually have two consciousnesses in his mind, but now that he knew what it was, he was working to control it. He figured if he could turn his Dragon emotions on or off at will, he might be more productive. Like he could go into Dragon mode when he was on a mission and when he needed to be serious.
The piece of his father's consciousness (which he called the Dragon mode) was there to stay so since it was staying in his mind it might as well help him out as a form of rent.
The two boys, under the impression that they where unseen, slowly climbed down from the roof of the house next to the room of the girls. They proceeded to take deep breaths, very long deep breaths, for 10 minutes, before finally summoning the courage to knock.
"Rock paper scissors" Lex won.
"Shit best two of three" Adam complained
"Rock paper scissors" Adam won
"Okay final round"
"Rock paper scissors" Lex celebrates as Adam walks up to the door and knocks.
"Hey Adam what's up" Tina opened the door.
"Can we talk? "
"Sure thing, let's take a walk. Lex, Linda is waiting for you inside" Tina says while she and Adam start moving down the street.
Lex moved to the door and took a deep breath before going in. 'Dragon mode 50%' he thought to himself.
Walking in the door Lex noticed Linda sitting on the only furniture in the room, a bed. She was looking away from the door so he couldn't see her face.
*Ahem* "Hey... Linda can you please face this way" Lex asked in a steady voice. Not at all showing how nervous he was.
"No, say your peace and leave" Linda replied coldly
"I would actually like to leave but unfortunately Adam promised to disown me as a brother if you don't forgive me "Lex chuckled.
"...." Linda did not say anything and kept her gaze on the wall, still facing away from Lex.
Lex released a sigh and sat on an opposite corner of the bed from Linda.
"You know, when the systems killed most of our classmates, Adam came to me and said if I fail to ask you out on a date after pretty much all my competition is dead that would make me the biggest idiot this side of the equator." Lex laughed, his cat-like eyes drifting off as he relived past memories...of about a month ago.
He then continued "He was right though, and before we got called for this mission we where all about to go on a double date. But i knew that the date was just for Adam and Tina, we where just gonna be there to support our friends, and to tell you the truth I was never gonna make a move on you back then. I was too afraid of being rejected but i was just a boy back then. Now i am a man after three long days i have finally grown up."
Lex's speech managed to squeeze a giggle out of Linda. 'Well here goes nothing' Lex thought.
"Linda ...uhh..not sure 'bout your middle name...White , I have loved you since I first started being able to love. I was always early for school to see you, which Adam found very annoying. Your smile lights up my world, heck they could even destroy the sun for all I care. When you talk your voice soothes my soul, so always keep talking. And your bod...beauty, I don't even want to talk about your beauty, because i might lose my voice.
I Lex Black ask you Linda White to be my girlfriend. Let us join and make Grey baby"
Linda burst out in laughter after the last line. Causing Lex to release a big smile as his heart started beating backwards again. Linda stood up and went to the still kneeling Lex, holding his hand and pulling him to stand.Lex was way taller than Linda , actually Linda was three quarters of Lex's height.
Linda put Lex's hands around her waist and her arms around his neck as she looked up at him and he looked down at her.
"So you wanna make Grey huh ? How many Grey do you want" She asked in what she thought was a sexy voice.
"How about 50 ?" Lex innocently suggested.
"So...50 shades ?" Linda asked as if she was confirming an order at a drive thru.
"You want our Grey to have shades ? sure that can be arranged" Lex stated before popping the question once again.
"So...can i make Fifty Shades of Grey with you babe ?." he voiced, their faces inching ever closer together.
