Xu Zeng's responses usually got shorter and shorter the farther one went from his favorite topics—Xu Feng and his precious nephew, Xiao Long and Da Long.
It was sometimes hard for him to have a productive conversation outside of his topics of choice, some of which were learned in the other (modern) world. It wasn't that he hated everyone, but he was actually a bit shy.
Who would believe this dense and uninterested looking giant of a ger (and a man), would be shy? Not many.
But when it came to this especially awkward conversation dealing with marriage, as soon as "sire babies" was mentioned, he became fired up. He was ready to defend his skill as a demon beast and preserve the honor of his ancestors!
