Lex was shooting at the Hivefiend, which was closing in on the Celestial Felines, battling the other monsters. His fully charged mana bullets flew through the air before connecting with them.
When the projectiles hit the monster's bodies, they exploded due to the mana overload flowing through them. The battle continued for another couple of hours as Lex and the cats used magic and bullets to beat the monsters, causing him to grow tired.
Even though he had unlimited mana, it still took a toll on his mind. Once all the Hivefiends died, Fiamma burned all their corpses to get rid of them as the others returned to the tent. When Lex entered, Nephthys grabbed his hand and dragged him toward the bedroom.
Lex grinned as he smelt the death cat's arousal and let her pull him along. The others started giggling before going about their business while waiting for Fiamma. When Lex and Nephthys were alone, she jumped on him.
