The two cats climbed Lex's body and scrambled into his armor, confusing him. But soon, the reason for their fright appeared in front of them. Peri quickly warned. ''Master! Get the others away from here. This Hivefiend is a commander and much stronger than anything you have fought.''
It was a Hive Assassin, but this one looked mutated and twisted. Lex's blood ran cold, and he spoke. ''Girls, get back. This monster is much stronger than us. Cover me from the rear and make sure not to get close.''
Silika was the first to protest as her blue eyes shone with determination. ''We can fight, Lex! We are a team!''
The others agreed alongside Maralene, who was ready. Lex smiled, but he knew they would get beaten, so he repeated himself as he put Midnight and Peri down and spoke to them. ''Go to the girls and keep them safe. I'll find you once I escape.''
