Lex nodded and followed the commander out of the mansion. As they were walking, the man turned to them and asked in a curious voice. ''Are you heading back to the capital or staying for a while?''
When he heard the man's question, Lex thought briefly before answering. ''We'll stay in the city for two days to resupply, and then we're heading north on a personal mission.''
The commander nodded before leading them to the front entrance and gave them some suggestions. ''Well, there are a few inns you could spend your time in during the nights, and I recommend visiting the market, especially the night one. They sell a lot of useful equipment.''
Lex smiled as he thanked the man as they separated. Silika asked as they walked down the road. ''Why are we going north?''
He looked at the blue-haired girl and answered honestly. ''I feel bad for Maralene. My Mothers cousin. So I want to see if she's still alive.''
