After breakfast, Kimberly excused herself to go get some rest before they get ready for the day since they had been informed that the resort had planned fun couple activities for them for the duration of their honeymoon.
Nicholas watched her retreat into the suite, her steps a bit unsteady. Nicholas couldn't help but feel a growing sense of responsibility towards Kimberly.
Their marriage might have started as a convenience, but he realized that he genuinely cared about her well-being. He wanted to be the support she needed, to be there for her in every way he could.
Once she was out of sight, he picked up his phone and made a quick call.
"Liam, it's Nicholas. Could you arrange for a light lunch to be brought up later? Something easy on the stomach. And maybe some ginger tea. I heard it's good for nausea and morning sickness."
"Of course, sir. I'll take care of it," Liam replied promptly.
