Weddings were all the same. Smiles and chatters, laughter and jokes, napkins dabbing away secret tears. It was all the same.
The atmosphere, the joy and music. Nothing differed from the other. And even as Kimberly prepared herself to make her way down the aisle to Nicholas, she could feel the anxiety every other bride had felt at a moment like this.
"Oh my God, you look..."
"Beautiful." Grace muttered behind Emily, certain that was the word she was reaching for, as Kimberly indeed looked beyond beautiful.
Nodding with a smile and dabbing softly at her tears, Emily agreed with Grace. She stepped closer to Kimberly. "You look very beautiful."
"Thanks mom."
"And you too, Caroline. You look amazing." Emily said, looking at Caroline in her rose gold bridesmaid dress.
"You look amazing too. I love the blue. Makes you look exactly like the mother of the bride," Caroline complimented.
