Chapter 88 - Civilisation

The village was a charming sight to behold, as if plucked from the pages of a storybook. Wooden cottages with thatched roofs dotted the landscape, connected by cobblestone pathways. Vibrant flowers in every hue adorned the window sills, and colourful banners hung from lampposts. It was a place where nature and civilization coexisted.

Lumen approached the village with a mixture of curiosity and cautiousness. He couldn't help but feel like an outsider in this tranquil setting, a lone hunter entering a world that seemed untouched by the dangers of the Fantasia Realm.

As he ventured further into the village, he listened in on conversations happening between the inhabitants. The villagers were humans, like him, but they had adapted to life in this mystical realm. They spoke of their daily routines, of gathering herbs and rare materials from the surrounding forest, and of the occasional encounters with creatures that dwelled nearby.
