Zaya suddenly pulled away from their intense kiss, leaving Kabir momentarily frozen. He tried to reach out to her, but she stepped back. Sighing, he rested his back against the closed door.
"Good night," Zaya said to him, a mischievous smile on her lips.
"So, you're just going to leave me after that passionate kiss?" Kabir asked.
"Mhm hmm. That's my specialty," Zaya replied, nodding her head with her hands behind her back.
"Why don't you come inside?" Kabir suggested with a smirk, gesturing towards his door.
Zaya understood the implication of his words and burst into laughter, covering her mouth with her hands. Before he knew it, Kabir found himself laughing along with her.
"You have a beautiful laugh. It's contagious," Kabir said sincerely once their laughter subsided. "I don't think I'll ever get over it. Your laughter will forever be etched in my memory, on replay. It's my favorite sound now—the sound of your laughter."
