Robert and Emily returned from their outing, still humming with enthusiasm from the movie. As they settled onto the couch, Emily expressed her gratitude. "Thanks for suggesting we go out, I really needed that."
Robert smiled, pleased that he could lift her spirits. "I'm glad to see you're feeling better."
Emily's concern for him was clear in her next question: "How are you feeling now?"
Robert's response was heartfelt: "With you by my side, I'm getting better every minute."
Emily playfully jested, recognizing his romantic gesture. "Oh, I see what you're doing! I think I'll go start cooking dinner so we can eat and you can take your meds."
Robert protested, not wanting her to exert herself. "Babe, I told you, no stressing! We can just order in."
