The next day...
As the students settled into the Ashram class, Dheera and Maya exchanged worried glances. Aahan had been absent from their classes since the capture-the-flag event, and his continued absence raised concerns.
However, Isha, sitting next to them, couldn't be bothered. While she was bummed about the fact she wasn't getting to challenge Aahan, that was the extent of it.
Unlike Maya and Dheera, she hadn't formed any special attachment with Aahan, and hence, his absence didn't bother her much. But it was the perfectionist warrior in her that wanted to face Aahan again and defeat him fair and square.
Still, Dheera leaned in to initiate the conversation, whispering, "Have any of you seen Aahan in class recently?"
Maya, who could not speak, raised an eyebrow and shook her head. The gesture spoke more than words. Aahan's absence had been noticeable, not just by them but also by other students.
