A dim sunlight streamed through the window, casting light into the room and making the dust particles inside visible.
Aaron, with tired eyes, was gazing out of the window. The entire continent was shrouded in darkness, and the kingdom itself had been burning continuously for about 30 days.
In this war, Nodwealsia and many other heroes had died, but Aaron had managed to survive thanks to the Water Tower Master. Many people had willingly sacrificed their lives for someone as insignificant as him. They all said the same thing to him:
"You'll become a great person, either now or in the future."
Aaron still felt the pain of his lost friends deep in his heart. The darkness would eventually reach this tower, and it would cause the deaths of everyone, including him.
