"Be careful and don't go near the gate," Aaron said, and Sean, who had realised what was about to happen before anyone else, shouted incredibly loudly:
"BE CA----" But they had already teleported out of the gate.
Realising he was trying to shout, the group turned to him and the pained look on Sean's face explained why he had been questioning Aaron so much all this time. He was Aaron's father. All he could do was clean dungeons while his son suffered so much, while he braved so much danger, while he tried to strengthen those around him at the cost of their lives, while he did everything he did and all the dangers surrounded Aaron.
That's why Sean had distanced himself from both Valerie and Aaron. Who knows how Aaron, who was so devastated when April died, would feel when he died?
