Who was Aaron?
In the midst of all these questions, Aaron was looking at the nobles from Norway with his kind eyes, and wondering if Astrid had anything else to say. Everyone was walking around, from the waiters passing out cocktails to the servants handing out snacks, and the focus of conversation was always the table on the east side of the room, where Aaron and Astrid.
"It is an honour to meet you, Master Aaron. Thank you very, very much for all you have done and for your inspiration," Astrid said suddenly, both of them unable to speak because of the tension between them - which was why Astrid had made the first move.
"You are most welcome, my lady, and please let us continue this humble conversation in the near future." Aaron replied and gently extended his hand, which Astrid recognised and extended her right hand to him in return, after which Aaron again gently bent down and kissed her hand.
