''Mery, will you tell me what happened?'' Aaron and Elysia had been watching Mery walking around anxiously for about 5 minutes, the assistant tower master and many mages were with them, each of them waiting for Mery and not saying a word.
Mery suddenly turned to Aaron and looked into his eyes and then said, "Our plans may have been thwarted.''
Surprised by what she said, Aaron said, "Explain." Mery shook her head and explained the contents of the document in her hand:
''According to this document, a demon army of 1,000 people is approaching here, heading towards the swamp. I can't understand how they can get past the Whirpools so fast, but they somehow manage to do it, and as a result, a large army, although not large, is coming here.''
Aaron paused at her words and was lost in thought, his eyes closed and trying to calculate what would happen if he put his plan into action.
