"Targets? Witnesses?"
Jamie's brow furrowed and he finally paused his drama to properly take in the situation on the ground.
He noticed that the only ones being attacked by the elite elves were David, Davina and Wanette. This was something he'd attributed to them being the strongest of the lot, but from the leader's words just now, he had to change that assumption.
"He said Targets. Not one target, but multiple. Anyone else is just a witness to eliminate."
Jamie's gaze moved from the elite elf trio to the leader, his fingers tapping on his phone screen as he thought.
'We entered this place because of a gate malfunction. But what if it wasn't really a malfunction?'
Jamie's thoughts drifted back to the moment the distortion in the spatial tunnel had thrown them off course.
He had checked the gate beforehand, so there was no problem with it.
