"Where are you going?"Marissa asked drowsily, as she slowly sat up on the bed, clutching the sheets to herself while her eyes were fixed on Giovanni, who was dressed up like he's going out.
Ofcourse, he is going out, Marisa!
Her thoughts scorned her, as a pout formed on her lips instantly even before Giovanni could open his mouth to truly affirm that he's leaving her.
"I need to meet up with my father…"Giovanni was explaining before he was abruptly cut off by a clingy Marisa.
"Don't go." She blurted out, as Giovanni's hand that was fixing the button of his sleeves, paused while he looked up at her, worriedly.
"Are you okay?" He asked, coming closer to touch her temple in case she wasn't feeling fine.
Marisa got annoyed, he simply can't understand signals. She didn't tell him not to leave because she's not feeling okay, she just doesn't want to be alone in this room all by herself.
