On their way back home after visiting a masseur, Marissa couldn't help but feel relieved at her feet but her mind has been distracted, which Giovanni knew that something happened back there at the bathroom, but he didn't want to push further with bothering her since she has not entirely being in a good mood.
"I need my phone back." Marissa blurted out, hoping that he doesn't suspect anything but then it's not like she's a prisoner anymore, she's about to be his wife or is he going to restrict her from using a phone till eternity, with his silly excuse to protect her?
Giovanni didn't remember that he had taken away her phone, but that was to keep her from running away or calling the cops but he knew that right now that she's not going to do anything to endanger her life, and that of their kids.
