"Are you okay?" Giovanni asked Marissa who has not spoken a word to him, ever since they left the house. They were out to choose their wedding rings, which was also an excuse to take her out since he promised to do that before her mother ruined everything for him.
But right now she wasn't feeling estatic and excited like she was, when he agreed to take her out. If anything, she still looked the same since yesterday after the issue with her mother, and that made him wonder if he made a mistake, by taking her out when all she needed was an alone time for herself.
