As they are leaving, Marissa tried talking to Giovanni, but since they came out of the doctors office he has been on phone call, which made her understand that he was a busy man, and him leaving his work to be here with her doesn't sound like what a man who wasn't generous would do.
But she didn't want to think about him changing. The only thing she wanted from him was his support towards their child, and what he did earlier in the examination room, was definitely what a baby daddy would do.
