"The fuck did you just say?" Azier demanded as he stood with anger present in his voice and face. "What do you mean Dagon is alive? You told me he was dead. You pointedly looked me in the eyes and said he was stabbed to death."
"Azier, let her explain-" Amyra chided and brought Ilsandra to the large table to offer her the still-warm meal she hadn't completely drained of blood. "Come, you should eat something. You look tired, too."
Azier opened his mouth to argue about the order of things, but the scowl he earned from his scholarly wife burned his very soul and being the smart man he was, he closed he mouth and didn't utter another sound.
Azrianna seemed to agree with the matter and helped Amyra bring Ilsandra into a chair. "Let me help heal you, Ilsandra - oh dear. How long have you been searching for us?"
"Did my coordinates fit?" Amyra checked with worry. "I hope you didn't get lost."
